MFT September New Product Launch

Are you ready? Today's the day! My Favorite Things September Release
is now available for purchase! Check out all the brand spankin' new goodies here.

Before I send you on your way, I'd like to share a couple of projects with a London theme.
First up is London Mouse--a set with tons of images of London, and some adorable mice
who are too cute to be guarding Buckingham Palace!

I masked off a watercolor panel with Post It tape and ink distressed with dye inks,
then stamped some popular tourist attractions over it. Three mice were stamped and
die cut, and I decided to leave them uncolored so they would stand out over the
colorful background. The sentiment is from Label Maker Sentiments.

My second card pairs the London Skyline Die-namics with a Concentric Circle Grid
Stencil that I used in an untraditional way--"stamped" with water. After ink distressing
watercolor card stock, I spritzed the stencil with water and pressed it on the inked surface.

The water picks up the color and "bleaches" the stenciled image. I colored the skyline with
a black Zig marker and spattered white ink over it. The sentiment is from Adventure is Calling.

So there you have it--our September Release!

  4. Fantastic cards, Donna. I absolutely adore those cute mice and leaving them uncolored adds a great look to the card. The coloring job on the London background card is amazing, especially the "fog". As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of Mary Poppins....when they dancing on the roof tops.
